About these terms

These terms describe how the AFCO 5:20 website may be used and what visitors can expect from it. AFCO 5:20 is the ministry name of Ambassadors For Christ Outreach 2 Cor. 5:20, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in Davie, Florida. Using the website means these terms apply to that use.

Using the website

Anyone is welcome here. Reading the pages, following the links, sending a message and giving a gift are all free to do, and no account is needed for any of them. Please use the website in a way that does not interfere with anyone else's use of it.

Ministry information and resources

The pages describe the ministry's work, its history and the ways it serves. They are written to inform and encourage. They are not professional advice of any kind, medical, legal, financial or clinical, and they are not a substitute for care from someone qualified to give it.

Support requests and referrals

The Request Support form is a way to start a conversation with the ministry. It is not an emergency service and it is not monitored around the clock. If someone is in danger or needs urgent help, please contact emergency services or a crisis line rather than waiting for a reply here. Where AFCO 5:20 refers someone to another organization, that organization runs its own services and makes its own decisions.

Donations

Gifts given through this website support the ministry's outreach. A gift is voluntary, and AFCO 5:20 decides how to apply what it receives in service of its mission. If a gift was made by mistake or in the wrong amount, please get in touch and the ministry will do what it reasonably can to put it right.

Monthly gifts

A monthly gift repeats until it is changed or stopped. It is managed through the secure customer page provided by the payment processor, which is where a donor updates a card, changes an amount, or stops the gift. AFCO 5:20 does not run a separate account system for this.

Receipts and acknowledgments

A donor receives an acknowledgment of their gift. What that acknowledgment must contain, and when, is set by federal rules for charitable contributions rather than by AFCO 5:20. AFCO 5:20 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Whether a particular gift can be deducted, and how much of it, depends on the donor's own tax situation rather than on the ministry, so AFCO 5:20 does not give tax advice and a donor with questions should ask their own tax advisor.

Payments and other services

Card and bank details are entered into a payment area controlled by the payment processor and are handled by that processor under its own terms and privacy policy. AFCO 5:20 does not receive or store complete card or bank account numbers. Other services may be used to run the website, send email, or manage its content, and each of those runs under its own terms.

Words, photographs and the ministry name

The wording, photographs, artwork and the AFCO 5:20 name and seal on this website belong to the ministry or are used with permission. Sharing a link, quoting a short passage with credit, or printing a page for personal or church use is welcome. Republishing the material as your own, or using the ministry's name or seal in a way that suggests AFCO 5:20 endorses something it has not, is not.

What we ask you not to do

Please do not use the website to send unlawful, threatening or deliberately false material, to impersonate someone else, to attempt to gain access to any part of it that is not public, to interfere with how it runs, or to collect other people's information from it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other organizations, including ministry partners and places where someone can find help. Those websites are run by other people. AFCO 5:20 does not control them and is not responsible for what they publish or how they handle information.

Availability and changes

The ministry intends to keep the website available and current, and pages will change over time as the work changes. The website may be unavailable at times, for maintenance or for reasons outside the ministry's control.

Limits

The website is offered as it is. AFCO 5:20 works to keep the information here accurate and current, and cannot promise that every page is free of errors or that the website will always be available. Nothing in these terms limits any right a visitor has that cannot be limited by law.
